If you're required to undertake an Advanced Trainee Research Project (ATRP) as part of your RACP Advanced Training, the Advanced Trainee Research Support Program (ATRSP) is here to support you every step of the way.

The ATRSP provides trainees with a fully supported ORIGINS research project in line with the RACP Advanced Trainee Project requirements, with the expectation this will result in publication in a relevant scholarly journal and be accompanied by improvements in skills relevant to a clinician researcher.

Key features of the ATRSP include:

  • Access to high-quality, high-impact ORIGINS research projects that align with RACP requirements.
  • Comprehensive support services to ensure projects are completed within the Advanced Training period and generate peer-reviewed publications.
  • Collaboration with local research organizations, offering trainees access to existing datasets, supervision from research and quality assurance experts, and biostatistical support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet your college requirements while building your research skills and contributing to real-world clinical knowledge relevant to the rural context.
